How do we collect information from you?

Where your stay is within a hotel operated under a franchise agreement with a hotel brand, your data will also be collected by the hotel brand e.g InterContinental Hotels, Hilton, Accor.

Data is collected during the booking process either via a brand booking engine or independent third party booking engine provider such as Booking Button or ihotelier.

We collect information from you:

  • when you make a booking or check into a hotel.
  • make an enquiry.
  • when you sign up to marketing emails.
  • when you submit a CV via our SHG website.


What type of information is collected from you?

You may be asked to submit personal information about yourself when you make a booking. We will collect this information, so we can fulfil your booking request.

  • When you make a booking:

Splendid Hospitality Group collects information such as:

  • title
  • name
  • e-mail address (used for booking confirmation)
  • home or work address
  • billing information taken for deposits, ticketing, or holding credit card information for
  • use in the case of no-shows (where applicable)
  • Passport details (where applicable)
  • telephone number
  • company name
  • Collection of sensitive personal data – children, dietary preferences, accessibility, etc
  • marketing preferences (whether you opt-in or opt-out)


  • When you access our wifi:

When you access our complimentary wifi Splendid Hospitality Group will not need to take or retain any personal email data from you.

  • Location information:

If you use our website, we may receive your generic location (such as city or neighbourhood). We will not take or use your IP address when you visit our independent web-sites.

  • Careers:

You may submit your CV if you’re interested in working for us to careers@splendidhospitality.co.uk

We stopped here on the way back from Silverstone to use the hotel's rapid charger and have a bite to eat.

Really impressed with the reception staff, hotel cleanliness in the lobby and the quality of food.

We enjoyed our brief 40 minute stay here so much we are considering staying here in the future for when we fly in and out of luton - which we do very often!

Can recommend the fish and chips and the lasagne.

Driver Friendly hotel too - serve becks blue behind the bar.

This hotel is a short walk from the small historic village of Flore (1 pub). It has recently been modernised with good communal and bedroom facilities. The evening meal was excellent (and we were dreading it a bit). Most of all the receptionist, Oliver, was excellent, he was very helpful, no request was too small or too large - he definitely goes the extra mile for guests.

We stayed here just for one night in the snow. This Holiday Inn has been refurbished so it's still fresh but what stood out were the staff, especially Oliver who was incredibly friendly and helpful. But the same goes for the whole team that evening and the next morning, well done. Breakfast was also much better than I expected for a buffet.

Just an overnight stay for a weeding at nearby Dodmoor Barn. Hotel easy to find of M1, clean and tidy, staff friendly, large rooms well fitted with every thing you need. Breakfast excellent with options for all.

This is a lovely hotel, I think it had been recently done up. The reception area is very bright and colourful and really welcoming. All staff were so friendly and helpful. The rooms were lovely. Decorated well.

They offered room service and some of the foods were 24/7 which is good. The food i ordered upon arrival was really good and the breakfast was okay, this was a buffet with a lot of choice of different things. Overall I would definitely recommend it as a nice hotel to stay in.

Positive review most definitely for this vastly improved hotel. Staff are great and proactively helpful.

Rooms are refurbished and modern. Food really good and you feel comfortable eating alone. Price I got was also good. Plenty of parking and good location next to the M1.

This is one of the nicest Holiday Inn's I've stayed at - can hardly fault it at all!

Special mention to the man who checked us in on Saturday evening, and the man serving in the restaurant that night. Both offered some of the nicest hotel service I've ever known. The receptionist took time to tell us a bit about things in the local area, and helped us make sure we get the best out of our stay. The waiter/bar man made the meal really special. There was a slight delay preparing some of the food, but the way he handled the situation was perfect. The food was all very tasty too - I had the Club Sandwich, and sticky toffee pudding for dessert. All tasted delicious.

The room and the whole hotel is clean, modern and comfortable. Felt very welcoming. The car park is big and free, and there was plenty of spaces available.

So happy I booked a couple of stays here, so am really looking forward to coming back in a few weeks' time. Thanks to all the staff for making it such a great weekend.

I am a frequent user of Holiday Inn's and I can say without hesitation this is one of the best ones I have stayed in. The decor is superb and the recent upgrade to the rooms is excellent. The food is very good also. Highly recommend the hotel for its position, friendliness of staff and the rooms.

Just stayed at this hotel for one night New Year's Eve, family of four. We arrived late New Year's Eve and from the moment we arrived we were given fantastic customer service by the team, in particular Oliver who went out of his way to look after us.

I was very impressed with the standard of food, the hotel has recently been refurbished so the rooms were in excellent condition anyway. Exceptional value for money and we will definitely stay again when visiting our family!

Went here with a friend for a chill out. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Close to the M1 but lovely and quiet.

Rooms were lovely and clean. Ordered room service and this was brought up on time. Well worth a visit. Close to other towns and not far from Silverstone.
